Art therapy for dementia can help your loved one experiencing dementia feel confident and in control of their life again.
We bring simple, paired down art selections to emotionally support our clients during sessions. This helps them make decisions without feeling overwhelmed. We’ve found when they get to make their own decisions, they will feel more in control. When they feel more in control, they will start to feel good about themselves.
Art therapy for dementia has the potential to unlock something inside all of us. Living with dementia shouldn’t stop that process.

How it works
A dementia related diagnosis affects the entire family. Art therapy for dementia is rooted in creative expression and talk. Some clients create art from their mind, others may prefer to copy art. We work together to create the connection that has the most meaning for them and creates feeling of joy and accomplishment.

Art Therapy for dementia
We believe that people work better where they feel most comfortable, at home. Our art therapist travels to your home with all the supplies needed for an hour long art therapy session. During these sessions, the person living with dementia can expect to feel and might show you a level of confidence you might not normally see.
virtual therapy for caregivers
Let’s face it, you’re busy and we understand all the demands on your shoulders. Our virtual counseling services allows you to remain at home and still get some support on your caregiving journey. In these sessions you can expect a balance of caregiver tips, as well as someone to listen to your struggles with a thorough understanding of the disease process.
